A new exhibition and a brand new museum layout for the National Gallery of Cosenza, located in Palazzo Arnone, the Seat of the Superintendence of Calabria. The new exhibition fosters a full reading and understanding of the artistic works through new languages and technologies. The minimalist structures made of textiles are perfectly and fully integrated within the context of this 16th C. building. In the main room, an unusual false ceiling creates the effect of a suspended foil. The white color featured the layout of the various rooms to unify the architectural context: the works of art were scattered in the rooms and rose – as suspended – out from impalpable color. The viewers felt as if these were protruding to them.
